The Yamaha 450 hp V8 XTO Offshore outboard is available in a classic white finish, in addition to the signature Yamaha gray and premium pearlescent white options. The classic white provides a clean, timeless look that pairs well with a variety of boat styles. All color variations feature the same advanced technology and powerful 5.6-liter V8 engine.

5.6-liter V8 engine: A large-displacement, 32-valve, DOHC V8 engine provides immense torque and acceleration for powering large offshore boats.
Direct fuel injection: The XTO 450 is the first four-stroke outboard to use a high-pressure direct injection system, spraying fuel directly into the combustion chamber for improved combustion efficiency and fuel economy.
Integrated Digital Electric Steering (DES): The steer-by-wire system is built directly into the outboard, eliminating external hydraulic lines and pumps. This results in faster, more precise, and quieter steering response.
Helm Master® EX compatibility: The V8 XTO is fully compatible with Yamaha's Helm Master EX boat control system, providing advanced features like joystick control, autopilot, and other automated functions.
Phase Angle Control (PAC) charging: A high-output charging system can produce up to 96 net amps at idle. This is essential for powering the increasing number of electronics found on large modern boats, such as gyro stabilizers, air conditioning, and sound systems.
Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE): This system keeps exhaust away from the propeller at lower RPMs and in reverse, allowing the propeller to grip cleaner water. This results in more powerful reverse thrust and improved low-speed maneuverability.
In-water gear lube servicing: For larger boats that are difficult to trailer, the lower unit is designed to allow gear lube to be changed while the boat is in the water.
