This model combines the proven reliability and power of the 4.2L V6 engine with advanced technology and a sleek, premium appearance. 

• Engine: The 4.2L V6 powerhead features plasma-fused sleeveless cylinders, a compact in-bank exhaust system, and Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) to maximize power while keeping weight down.
• Color-specific features: The pearlescent white models are equipped with integrated Digital Electric Steering (DES) and Digital Electronic Controls (DEC). These features offer smoother, more precise, and more responsive steering and shifting than mechanical controls.
• Helm Master® EX Compatibility: DES models are fully compatible with Yamaha's Helm Master EX boat control system, allowing for advanced features like joystick control and autopilot.
• Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE): This system keeps exhaust bubbles away from the propeller in reverse and at low speeds, allowing the prop to run in clean water. This results in stronger reverse thrust and improved maneuverability, especially around docks.
